    How can I tell?

My Ever----loss website doesn't have a PR rating according to my Google toolbar... :(

From my understanding of google's PR:

If the PR is white with no green in it, it simply means that google has not ranked the site yet and it will be updated in a couple of months...

or if the PR is completely greyed out, then you need to contact google themselves to find out why.

Pr is going to update in about two months I think.

If you have a new site it's normal to not have PR. Google updates PR every few months, you'll get a PR when the next PR update occurs

Ok, thank you... I was very worried since this website is going to be mainly obtaining traffic from Google.

PR and SERPs/traffic from google are 2 different things..ranking for keywords and having other sites link to you are not really the same

don't worry too much about it, PR is not that important, write SEO friendly content, do keyword research, put quality content, update regularly and you'll have success

I'm going to need all the help I can get if I want to be extremely successful on this since it's a weight loss product, and there will be tons of affiliates doing the same thing... Getting a good PR will only help!

PR isn't anything good. Money on the other hand is.

Why on earth do you care about a silly little number for an affiliate landing page? Unless you plan on making money selling links, I'd start worrying about countless other things :)

PR is not worth worrying about, it is an indication of Google's love for you, but as previously stated it normally doesn't relate that much to search engine results.

Good luck with Everl0ss, it's gonna be a competitive one!

pr is absolutely not worth worrying about ...

i have been in the top 10 search results for a product for nearly 2 months now ...
when PR updated a couple of weeks ago i got PR 3 ...

and now, suddenly google has decided my page should rank about 120!!

focus on links, traffic, SEO ... pr is neither here nor there, makes no real difference
