One of the prime reasons I became a member of Digital Point is that I'm desperate for some assistance prior to Christmas. My family owns a very reputable business that sells historical maps, to commercial, government and the individuals--Wholesale and Retail. Over a year ago I established a very excellent forum, called VBulletin. However, although VBulletin is a great forum, its earlier version did not have a very good safety net. After about 4 months the forum was inundated with pornographic ads. So in the evening I had to spend precious time removing these blemishes. In just one month I had over a subscription rate of over a thousand people Now my family members want me to set-up a new forum and "Simple Machine" seems to be the perfect board for potential enthusiasts. I'm an old University Professor of Earth Sciences who implemented the VBulletin, but because our main server is "Go-Daddy" for our main website, they seem to require I utilize "Simple Machine." A lot of my time has been wasted trying to understand how to apply the application "Simple Machine" and as of now been unable to install this? Can anybody assist me...please?
