Hi everyone, I just found this board and am glad theres a place where we can help each other with adsense. I am still very much a newbie to this stuff but have learned some great tips etc I use.

First of all I have been with adsense since the first of the year, I now average 15-30 clicks per day, and also average between $4 - $10 per day in earnings.

I have two websites, one I just activated as of saturday, so the clicks and earnings were coming from one site. Anyway, I have no doubt that some website owners can live easily off adsense earnings alone. My brother has 3 websites, one averages $750.00 a month from adsense, and the other two websites he has just started. He spends a LOT of time, searching for website subjects that are in HOT demand and have low competition.

It seems what makes clicks worth a lot more is a subject that a lot more people buy from google. For instance a click on an adsense ad for 'How to make sour tasting sausage' may get a earning of 2 cents, while a click on an adsense ad for 'How to get a credit card' may earn $2.98, since there are a LOT greater searches on the web (demand) for credit cards.
My bro researches for keywords that have the strongest demands, then finds a subject that has that, and has low competition in the search engines.

It does take a lot of time and great effort, espicaly on your days off work etc, your almost always tweaking keywords, meta tags etc, but has my bro has shown me, one site can easily gernerate $750+ a month just from adsense, if it's a highly targeted subject that a lot of people search for.

I am going to launch a 3rd website next month. So far this is great fun and makes some nice extra cash. Oh yea, and if we get banned from adsense, don't think the end is over, there are two other search engines that have the same type ad programs.

Anyway, I hope this info helps or innspires some of you.
    Cheers.....

Must have blinked and missed something, what other SE's are you reffering to. I wasn't aware that Yahoo or MSN had launched anything like adsense yet - when they do things might get a little more interesting.
The most important tip is content. Find well searched for keywords and write good content for them.
Content is king, create good content regularly and people will keep coming back.

i was thinking along those lines, what research methods would one use to find these so-called subjects with "strong demand"?

if i could find these subjects + then write up something which is also useful/informative like digitalpoint that would be a good side-hobby :)

If you're earning 4->10 per day, simply duplicate what you're doing already. Either write new content for the sites you have, or create new sites.

$4-10 a day is more than most people earn.
