Greetings from Frederick Maryland

I'm new... very new.
My boss said for me to spend time on forums and "lurk" (what ever that means). I'm an intern at an advertising agency in Frederick Maryland.
My boss is a search engine marketing consultant, he tells me he learned most of what he knows (which is a LOT!) from online forums like this one and the Warriors Forum.

As an intern I'm supposed to eventually do video interviews of our small business SEO clients. Before I am allowed to do that, I've been tasked with getting a background in blogging, social networking and basic SEO (which is why I'm here)

David says Digtial Point is as important as the Warrior forum so I'm excited to see what I can learn here.

 

Yeah he's very right these forums are awesome in learning internet marketing tactics so as an old member i welcome you here you can contact me if you have any kind of problem.

 

thanks, parts of this are easy to understand, we're supposed to build back links, what is a bit confusing is why some are "spammy" and others are "legitimate".

I'm learning but it's hard for me to see which ones are not as good as others. I can see the end result of what he does, he fills the google pages with our customers links. What's not so easy to see is how it all fits together.
