Greetings DP, my name is Marco and I'm from Arizona, United States, currently living in Sonora, Mexico. I'm fairly new to Digital marketing and I'm eager to learn and interact with DP members. I chose "Liebesleid" as my username since it's my favorite classical music piece. In fact, one of my dreams is to learn to play Rachmaninoff's piano version of "Liebesleid". My other interests are, linguistics, philosophy, and sports in general. I decided to join DP since I've been looking for a more mature forum. I hope this is the right place. Thank you for reading my introduction. Have a nice day!
Welcome to DP grasshopper. I typically listen to trance music which is quite popular in Mexico, but I also listen to orchestral versions of trance classics to listen to something different. I now want to listen to the classical music piece you have as your username
Thank you for the warm welcome! Yes, trance music is awesome! Me and my brother enjoy it a lot. Yes! you should totally listen to Liebesleid! Here's the piece: And the piano version: If you're more interested in classical music here are other pieces I like! Chopin ballade no. 1 in g minor op.23 Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso (Camille Saint-Saƫns) Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement I hope you like them. Cheers!
How old are you? Not many young people listen to classical music. Or maybe I am wrong to assume that?
I'm 16. You're totally right. Not many young people listen to classical music, which I'm totally cool with. That's how it's been since I was a kid, I like having conversations with adults, talk about anything I have knowledge on, learn about other places, it's literature, culture, religion, language. I don't know, that's how I am and will be .
Good for you. Be your own person and not a sheep like most 16 year olds that just follow the cool trends.
I'm trying A lot of new stuff sounds generic. You have the same surname as my sister-in-law just with a Z instead of S haha.
Really? That's so cool! Is she from Australia too? Or perhaps Portugal? I'm assuming since "Rodrigues" is a Portuguese surname.
She is a second generation Australian. Yup from Portugal, Madeira to be exact But has family in Brazil.
That's insane! I'd love to visit Portugal one day. I've been studying Portuguese for a while now and it's really not that difficult, knowing Spanish helps me a lot. Have you been to Portugal? I've seen photos and it's really beautiful, don't you think?
Neither do I, I've only traveled through Mexico and the US. Florida, California, Baja California, Quintana Roo and Sinaloa are some of the places I've been to. My family is planning to travel on a cruise next year, not overseas unfortunately, but that's how it is, I can't complain! I'm Really excited! p.s. - I've now added "Visiting Australia and Portugal" into my bucket list.
Great! I really should visit more of my own backyard before travelling overseas. Australia is a huge place, but it's only the coastal regions that are very populated. I would love to visit Mexico some day.
Visiting Mexico is considered as a "Double-edge sword". Mexico beaches are really beautiful, especially in Cancun, Quintana Roo. They're this things called "Cenotes" which basically is a beautiful cave where you can go swim and enjoy it's greatness. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cenote One of the things I enjoyed most about traveling to Cancun was this place called " Rio Secreto ". They recently discovered it while some tourist where hiking a mountain and found a cave, little did they knew that they found a Mayan Palace! On the other hand, crime is very common here in Mexico, but if you manage to stay on tourist areas you'll be fine.
