Which Country is most Green and what are they doing to be Sustainable in regards to Energy, Food, Shelter, etc?
i think its iceland - i remember being there and having watched a few programs on tv, it seems as if their the winner. however, i think thats because of their population as well, as around 350,000 or 400,000 people.
Good question, can't be answered with only a few sentences. This involves so many toppics... example: Compared to other industrialize nations, Switzerland does well on the carbon footprint. We have nearly no heavy industry - meaning we import. So parts of the chinese (german|french|<insert country here>) carbon footprint is actually ours. If you want to name good initiatives, you'll get a long list - in every country you'll find good ideas (like e.g. financial support if you install solar panels or wind power generators in Germany). But is that enough for a country to qualify as "green"?
The color of the nature - Green, the color of the money - Green, the theme of the website in your signature - Green! No wonder....you have majority of the threads concentrating on..... Greens! Regards, RightMan
