    The Google API stands for ‘Application Programmable Interface’. As it’s name implies, it is an interface that queries the Google database to help programmers in the development of their applications. At this point, it is important to remember that all of Google’s APIs are only available in beta version, which means they are mostly still in their initial trial release and that there could still be a few adjustments required to some of them.

    can anybody tell me that why many persons say that we put link in related catogary i:e why we don't put jewelry sites in health ralated sites afterall we make appropriate catagory for putting jewelry links. And i think there is no impact when google crawling. :confused:

    Google or any SEs count links from any category. But the value of links from related categories are worth more than from non-related ones.

    Also remember google ranking is majorly based on links and each links are considered to be a vote to the site. Is it possible to get vote from a less interested people ? That is the basics of this ranking algorithm.
