Thanks for this great post. I do most of them expected PPC. I do not pay for traffic. All the traffic my website is getting is FREE traffic. Most of my traffic come from Twitter. As my Twitter account niche is related to my website niche I get a lot of traffic. Thanks for the tips
Great tips, do you have any specific trade ezines you would reccomend? There are so many out there, but precious few provide good value. Also do you use an article submission service? Thanks!
There are many different ways of getting traffic of course. I focus on my opt in list building because research shows that it takes seven points of contact (online) for your prospect to trust you. When you have an opt in list, you can use email marketing to gain trust and get to that seventh point of contact. Take a look at the real people earning 4 and five figures per month - I bet everyone has an opt in list.
indeed, google is not just the best source of traffic, those visitors are quality too, leads towards sale
Try to have atleast a couple of articles on key ezine sites. Check out their google ranking before you submit any articles to them. Site which have a google rank of 5+ is recommended. We published a few websites relating to the business card services that we offer and we've noticed alot of traffic coming to our site. Jenny
Blog commenting and forum posting both seem to work for me; also I use Twitter and have different twitter accounts for different niche markets - I get the traffic well enough from there, but I have yet to see any success with twitter from a sales perspective. I think the social sites like Squidoo and HubPages can also add some good backlinks to your site as well as Stumble and Digg. Best wishes Lisa
Paid PPC marketing is expensive, if you are trying to build the brand that's OK to do. If you are doing affiliate marketing, that's OK to do. Otherwise, it maybe costly to you if you're just starting out.
I your blogs is new. socialbookmark is the easy and best way to get traffic. not only that. you can use yahoo answers.
If you have a or can create a following somewhere else and then direct it to your other ventures. Partner with complimentary websites, forums, etc. Send traffic between them, as they would likely have a similar audience. Explore untapped markets/groups of people. There is a growing number of people in their 50's and 60's that are using the internet. Also other countries.
Not only this, Offering Some free content, will get lots of traffic. Suppose the people who are selling premium templates, will offer free templates first and later then they get lots of visitors, later they sell premium templates.
