wasn't taking it personally just everyone is questioning me as where the traffic is coming from, its simply high quality google traffic.

a DP member was the one who informed me it was PR3 i was very surprised my to hear that.
This is the tool i use to check PR's and its been very accurate. the dp member who told me was using another one.

there is a variation on backlinks.. http://callofduty5.tv, callofduty5.tv, <-- those 2 are the ones i used for my link exchanges and not www.callofduty5.tv.

Anyway wasn't getting angry, but if you were getting some of the questions im getting over and over you would get frustrated also, i even have people sending me PM's asking for a % of the profit if they send me some traffic. Traffic & loyal readers are the least of my worries.

Anyway thanks for the interest, i do see where your coming from tho, just got lucky with this site & did a good amount of search on it.as mentioned if i do sell will be a regretful one, whoever i need to fun a dedicated server & other expenses for a larger project.

48 articles currently (decent amount of keyword pacific words per article) currently adding 2-3 a day, not as many last few days as ive had other stuff on my plate.

Stats server was down for 2-3 days for server upgrades though out the week .. All affiliates have been informed that all our affiliate is still being tracked its at about 300 clicks a day and more on the weekends as the traffic grows so do the clicks as the traffic is looking to pre order, so come November the 11th should very interesting to see how many are converting will be a great little xmas bonus check.

1,450 uniques today already and still a few hours to go & coming into the weekend should go ok.

 

A tip.. turn on Permalinks with html endings for your URLS - Better for SEO !

 

yes, i see now that with the links you have provided, your site does appear to be showing PR3 on some G PR tools and PR 0 on others, so the answer is that not all google servers have propigated and it seems that when they do, your site will be PR3 - very nice and good job.

As to the traffic, alexa.com is a very good and valuable traffic indicator. Alexa is usually pretty reliable and pretty quick to rank and score website traffic. Alexa is showing an alexa rating for your callofduty5.tv site to be about 773,893 which is not bad - not great, but not bad.

If you look at the following link and screen shots you will see what I am saying and you will then perhaps understand where the skepticism is coming from. I think however and as I said a few times earler, you have a unique situation where you are getting good traffic right out of the gates and it is so new and so quick that many tools are not even registering it yet.

Regardless, take a look at the following alexa tool and compare your website to another that is currently forsale here on DP. This other website is BIN $500 and the traffic on it appears to be better than traffic on callofduty5.tv but the seller of it is only asking $500. The current bid in his thread at the moment is $200.

I am still interested in buying your website, and I am simply tyring to help you see why people are questioning you - nobody is calling you a liar or a cheat my friend. Its just very rare to see site so new - do what you are claiming and showing. Additionally, people want to be sure before they just start tossing dollars around on a promise - that's all.

If I have not totally irritated and offended you with my opinions and statements, please keep me inconsideration for the sale of your website. An asking price or a BIN would be very helpful on our parts.

Its ok i do understand how it could look sus with so much traffic so quickly. Today / last 24 hours ive had 2500 people on my site
Last 4 days traffic (weekends seem to double the traffic)


Im still at a loss as to where and how to price this, i think with the current traffic trend i would be stupid to sell, that said i see this as my only other option to fund my other project or i have to wait until i get a check for the pre orders, now month to date is showing 468 clicks for the pre orders and their stat servers were down for 2 days, and i can only see up to the 3rd of October. so wish the were orders and not pre orders to get a better idea, but as mentioned order and pre order are 2 of my higher keywords landing people on my site

I really was just hoping for a bid that stood out, i will contact a friend today at work out a set price.

300 Pre orders will result in $1000- now with todays traffic thats 10% of people putting their name down for something they want and they dont pay a cent until it ships. traffic is very pure so to say 300 pre orders came today is not out of the question, probably didn't happen like that i know but over a week i do feel 300+ a week from here on in is actually going to happen over the current months.. i have some thinking to do i'll weigh up how important my other project is.

EDIT: really sorry for the long delay with the "BIN" was difficult to access but the traffic is pure.. targeted & very honest.. its will be converting and the sites traffic will only pick up.. patches.. map packs .. other add-ons .. mods .. general interest will build strongly once released.

I wouldnt sell it mate, think long term and sell it around xmas time, you'll make more over the next couple of months that you will by selling it now. If the traffic keeps growing like that the forum will kick off big time when the game is released.

Just my 2 cents but its what id do.

Mate i am pulling all the strings i can to get some funds for a dedicated server for another project (referring to it as another project as id like to keep quite until complete, a good webmaster keeps his mouth shut so im learning lol)
Things are a bit tight here, you don't need my sob story, banks crashing rents so up ... the usual hassles in life, and was just trying to get a jump on something else as i have some time up my sleeve.

The way its going i wont sell at xmas if still in my possession, as i would have a few affiliate checks by then, only reason for the sale was to fund a bigger and better venture, the traffic at the moment is a webmasters dream (not being cocky either ! but its come out of the blocks firing) As for the forums its got a few members already and only opened for half a day, needs work tho.
