Great source of backlink?

hello all,

Most member here are talking about Squidoo and Hubpages which is the best source of backlinks.

Can anyone suggest social sites that can provide great source of backlinks aside from squidoo and hubpage? I know Squidoo and hubpage are really great but i want to know more.. any suggestion?

I tried this before Zimbio.com.

I actually just put a whole list of social networking sites on my page that are usual for getting backlinks. Here are few:

reddit.com
delicious.com
furl.net
stumbleupon.com

I've used a free service called Social Marker before as a quick way to post to a load of dofollow sites.

 

There is a great list on Wikipedia containing top most 50 social networking sites for online marketing purpose. So you can get it at free of cost and njoy!!!

 

They might be nofollow but they are great for traffic. I had a post that generated over 5,000 visits the same day where I normally get 10-20 visits a day. I still keep getting trackbacks of people linking back to that post.

Agree. Whether DOFOLLOW or not, social bookmarking sites are great for traffic, especially if you have something that can possibly be viral.

 

I social bookmarking sites and some are good back links. I use backlinks and page rank as a bonus, not the main reason. if you use some directories, articles, rss feeds, and links from sites with the same niche. Google seems to love Squidoo. I use them to meet other people in the same niche I'm in and make lenses on the topics my sites discuss or what they are about.

 

COORECTION: delicious.com is a NO-FOLLOW bookmark.

 

I use dofollow social bookmarking sites and dofollow blogs for the backlink.

 

Listed above are the standards one to start with.

I would suggest to have a closer look on StumbleUpon. Many stumblers mislook the importance of tagging your stumble, which eventually will create a valuable link on the tag page at SU.
