Great Social Bookmarking Sites for Promoting Your Page and Building Links

I was just wondering if you all could weigh in on what you think are the best social bookmarking sites (digg, StumbleUpon, etc.) in terms of promoting a web page and building links. Maybe share some of your experiences etc.

Hey thanks for your input. I have used Reddit but I was wondering, how do you, besides emailing and sharing with your contacts, promote your pages on social bookmarking sites? Is there a way simply to submit the page to people who are not necessarily your contacts? Or do you have to go through your contacts in order to share the page? If you all could give your thoughts and experiences on this that would be great.

I think Digg it's one of the best,but why use only the best one,when you could use all of em' and get more link juice.

i've been submitting pages and stories to top social bookmarking sites, and the one that's bringing traffic the most is reddit.. though it's only based on my experience some might have different referring sites

 

I also use folkd and jumptags these are both simple to use and nice backlinks.

 

I think digg, reddit, jumptag are good social book marking websites.

I'm still not familiar with how StumbleUpon works but I am happy with Digg. Wishing to have more access to other social bookmarking sites.

 

Google bookmark, Identica, Reddit, Dzone also good. But Dzone have higher TOS.

 

Ya bookmarking is the very good way to incearse traffic on product and also incearse the Page rank on website.

 

Based on my experience, i am getting better traffic from stumbleupon. i have submitted to all bookmark sites. But only getting traffic from them only.

 

my experience is simlar to worlddblackstar. I bookmark my NEW post on regular basis to digg, stumbleupon and many other. Only stumbleupon send me some traffic. reddit is good. but after about two post they will start flagging you and u won't be able to submit any post
