I have used many different licensed SEO Tools in my various jobs and with various top line companies but have often found the free ones seem to be just as good. For example: RankChecker SEOQuake SenSEO SearchStatus Greasemonkey (various tools) Firebug (for on the fly edits and checks) Google Synonyms (keyword research) SEO Workers Analysis FlagFox All the above are firefox extentions I currently use and I have, probably missed many out that I have and use, however I have a budget with my SEO team and I am looking to spend some money on some QUALITY tools that I cannot get for free. I have used SEOMoz.org and don't rate it whatsoever, nothing there you can't get for free simply and easily. Please let me know your own recommendations, Just to let you know the PAID tools I've used in the past: WebCEO - Traffic on "searched terms" seems to be vastly wrong, although rank checking is fine, but I can do this for free on "Rank Check" for Firefox. IBP - This is ok for rank checking - fairly simple and easy to automate, but again I can do this for free on "Rank Check" for Firefox. WebPosition - Again this is good for rank checking across all the search engines but can use tools to do this for free. Advance Link Manager - This helps analyse backlinks for your site as well as competitors. Looking to get this again with my current company unless you guys think another tool is superior. Advance Web Ranking - My colleague recommends this, I have not used it. But would be nice to get some feedback from others. Would be nice to hear of some more paid tools that really make a difference to your SEO. Thanks
