I am the co-producer and host of Midweek Politics (www.midweekpolitics.com), a weekly political talk show that is broadcast on the nationwide Pacifica radio network (www.pacifica.org), and we are almost completely sold out for December, mostly with DP members making up our advertisers. The show has well known guests (recently John Kerry, Ralph Nader, etc) as well as many advertisers also advertising on Sirius and XM radio, etc. The show airs Wednesdays. Wednesday at 12:00 pm eastern US time is the cutoff for making it to that night's show. The show has a heavy podcast following, with over 15,000 views/downloads on itunes and our website per SHOW, and we do one show per week, in addition to airing on traditional radio stations across the country. Each show remains downloadable for a total of 6 weeks., meaning that when you advertise on ONE show, it is downloaded for the 6 weeks that follow. This is a GREAT opportunity for website businesses that are not location-based to advertise. Cash4Gold, one of the BIGGEST affiliate programs in the country, uses this type of advertising regularly, as do many others. This is strong advertising for product based websites, content sites looking to drive traffic, affiliate programs, etc. Details: * Ads are 30 seconds long. You can provide be a produced 30 second ad, or we can produce the ad for you, and I would voice it. * If YOU create your advertisement, there is NO MINIMUM. If WE create your advertisement, there is a 2 show minimum. Do any other DP members who have purchased this sort of advertising before have any sort of reviews? I'd like to see what kind of websites do well on these shows.
I am surely interested but without any previous reviews it's kinda hard to convince myself to take it up.
