Great Opportunity: Site that Sells PHP Shopping Cart

    I have developed an online shopping cart system, written in PHP. The jQuery-powered cart utilizes a "drag and drop" method allowing users to check literally drag items into their shopping cart. The cart has been well received by customers and parties interested in reselling it on my behalf.

    I currently have a site setup and sell licenses to use the shopping cart for $30.00 a pop. The license entitles the user to use the shopping cart on a single domain. I have been selling licenses since March 2008 and so far have sold 20 licenses, relying on a few links in script directories, but no other SEO or marketing.

    The site itself is powered by a series of PHP scripts that allows users to sign up and pay for their license. After payment, they are then automatically granted access to the members area where they can download the current release of the cart.

    Due to a lack of time, I am looking to sell the whole thing: the site, the code for the product, and the backend for the site.

    There are a few loose ends that I will tie up before transferring ownership of this property to another user, and they include:

    • Providing a new release that fixes some bugs found by current customers
    • Getting the forum up and running, which is currently down for repairs.

    I think that this is a great investment if you want to just sit on this and sell licenses for the product as is, but it's an even better investment if you have some web development experience when it comes to PHP scripts and can continually enhance this product to give it more features.

    Does anyone else have resell rights to this product? Will the buyer get full and exclusive rights to the script? And do you have a starting bid or BIN in mind? Thanks.

    No one else has resell rights to this product and yes, the buyer would be getting full and exclusive rights. The buyer would be free to do whatever their heart desires with the product, the site used to market it and the licensing structure used. All of it would be transferred.

    I have updated the original post with starting bid, BIN and end date.
