People have interpreted that yahoo dont want to be the first in search engines.

MSN have to say that they want to be the first and offer something more.

Internet explorer that dont show google ads is an interesting strategy.

Windows mail live is other interesting strategy.

New ads system for june is other interesting strategy.

Why MSN is not the best search engine?

MSN is not the best search engine because they have not devoted the money and time to it like Google has.

M$ has the money, and could have the time...they have been investing in other things.

    Thats what I would assume.

This would be interesting for the lawyers working on the IE vs. Adsense case. This would be like Sony selling TV's that blocked Philips ads.

I am not sure if Microsoft sees this as a stupid (no-go) or ruthless move (go).

Internet explorer which does not show google ads ???
It will hurt M more than it benefits ( goodwill)
Also Won't google launch their own internet browser then ?
Also G ads are only javascript .JS file . Attempting to block it may cause problems elsewhere also .
Did you read this internet explorer thing on some news website or is it just a forum discussion ?
    Regards

lolz ya... msn has the OS power with it.. it made netscape vanish due to its already installed IE ... after win95 (i think) all OSs had IE installed in them.. so if msn invests in this section.. it can catchup soon

Blocking ads is interesting, are they going to block overture and their ads, too? or just Google Adsense?

I think people go on Yahoo to either submit to their directory or read their content and not necessarilly to search. They only seem to give few referrals for most people. its mostly Google and small but increasing amount from MSN as well. I think MSN will take the NO. 2 spot anytime soon.

MSN has the "potential" to capture more market share...they've got two big obstacles to overcome: they're in the game much later than google and two, google's only focus is the internet. Microsoft is much more complex and maybe MSN just isn't their big item at the moment to worry about.
