I think I have a great idea for a new unique website project which in my opinion will be a huge success. Problem is that I will need technical help to get the project started and I am worried to talk to any one about this idea – can’t trust anyone these days. So, with other words I am a bit stuck here and don’t know what to do next. Any ideas where to go from here?
First you will have to find a web developer with the right skills, then get that person or people to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The best way to find a good web developer is to look at their portfolio of sites, and find out how much of a part they played in the development of each project. But, are you seriously sure your idea is that original? There are very few truly original ideas on the web, just the same things marketed differently, or not very well marketed at all. The million dollar homepage wasn't a new idea at all, just a new spin on an old idea.
you're gonna have to trust someone at some point - why not get as far as you can - then tell someone you trust. If you're looking at building a link site that gives its users a chance to win their cash back ... its already been done! DoA
I hear what you are saying but I still think it’s a fairly new idea. Problem is finding a reasonable priced programmer I have to look outside my country (New Zealand). Hiring someone in India or Russia means nothing at the end if you try to sue them for a breach of contract.
How difficult is this project? I would think you'd be able to find a friend of a firend, or someone with enough skill to build something for you. Most stuff is not all that difficult to program
maybe getting someone with pogramming experience to partner with you would be an option - that way they would be in on the plan - and wouldnt tell anyone 'cos theyd lose out if they did!!!?? P.s. im a programmer and am available to help if needs be!
It's called an non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Get all your developers to sign the NDA before you send them any details about your project.
Not a bad idea at all. Let me think about it and I will let you know. Haven't got time for that I have to spend my time on various other projects and wouldn't have time to start learning to write my own programs. Otherwise I agree, that would be the best choice. Thanks for your time guys
