Selling Great Mobile Blog - PR2, 8 Months Old

I have been running a mobile phone blog since July 2009.

The reason I am selling it is because I am overwhelmed with projects and I just can not put the amount of attention this site deserves. I can still continue running it if there is no interest. I am just listing it in case anybody has interest and knowledge in the mobile area and wants to own a fairly popular and established blog.

I have written on various topics from applications, to games, posted videos and full-sized reviews. Currently there are 109 posts, all of which are with UNIQUE content, under 10 categories and 22 legitimate, moderated comments. The number of full-sized reviews is 20 (example review).

I have removed AdSense in the past few days, because I've been upgrading hosts and the site template. Which reminds me of this - the site runs on Wordpress - the free, open source blog publishing system. The reason I choose the simplest possible template is because it gives maximum exposure to the advertisements, while allowing great readability of the content. The owner can change the theme as he likes. There are literally thousands of free and premium templates for Wordpress to choose from.

Note that the earnings only include AdSense for Content stats. AdSense for Search made some money too, but it's not included in the above screen-shots.

Accepted payment methods are PayPal and Moneybookers. The transaction should be done no-later than 48 hours after winning the auction or the site may be sold to the second highest bidder.

The domain will be pushed to a Godaddy account of the buyer's choice, so I will need this account's registration email and ID/username. I will also need an email to send the archived site files and database, but I can also upload them to a file host like Rapidshare if the buyer prefers it.

Positive itrader feedback will be left after the successful transfer and payment.

Those are all false alarms. You can check the corresponding results that copyscape returns and you will see that there is no matching or copy-pasted content. All of the content on the site is hand written and unique.

I see some results at CopyScape returning the page as a copy while there are only 7 same words on the both pages. So CopyScape is not a reliable tool for checking copied content.

Back to the point - it seems like I've mistakenly started a buy it now thread instead of an auction system. Bidding can still be done by posting and PM.

Yes, with the proper ad placement and colors. I've seen sites with less traffic than this earning nice money. And their niche wasn't even as good. At this site, I've had clicks worth almost $1 each. That should say something I guess.

People still use Alexa? It has become so easy to manipulate it's ranking algorithm.

I believe that is low price given the amount of quality content and the age of the site - the potential is just too high. Don't let this get away from you!

If there are no better offers I will be forced to sell it for $35, simply because I don't have the capacity to work on this site beside my other projects.
