Great job with the changes- one more suggestion

First off, I wanted to say great job to Shawn and the rest of the staff here at DP for bringing about some of the recent changes- they are already having a great impact on the forum (especially in the B/S/T section, when for once there are ridiculous thread bumps everywhere, which makes it more fair by giving similar "front page time" to the different threads.

I do have one more suggestion though- I know that the intro section no longer counts towards post count, but why not remove the signatures in the intro section altogether? It will cut back on those spammers who are just trying to get free links.

If people are posting to get "free links", they are going to be sorely saddened when they realized there's probably a billion other links they are sharing with on the forum. Signature links really aren't worth that much as far as SEO in my opinion...

That's true, but sometimes I just get the feeling that some people just post for the sake of it and that was the only possible reason I could think of why they do that.

Not creating a new thread for this, sorry it may seem that I am hijacking the thread. I do see adsense in posts

this is causing a lot of problems. If you could try and move around this part of adsense to somewhere else, I'd be pleased.

    Thankyou

looks a bit awkward. Don't like the hang of ads before content...

See this thread as an example.

A long thread full of content with the Google ads on the left makes it look really messy. It's also a little weird in relation to the signature placement as well. I have no problems with implementing the ads in that positioning (preferably on the right-hand side) but when it's causing a mess, I don't see it to be beneficial.

Edit: I can screenshot it if you want, as it may show on the right side for you. When it's on the right side it looks fine, but it's a cluster when placed on the left side of the content.
