GreatDomains.com, are they really great or overpriced, what's your opinions about this site?

Do many of these domains sell for these prices?

Some of them are really, really nice with great brandability and revenue potential. I'd buy a couple, too if I had the dough :)
Others are expensive for the sake of being expensive, fishing for desperate domain name buyers, my opinion.

Great Domains has a screening process where they only choose the best domains to list. These domains have to be meaningful and generic and have to have a value exceeding $5,000+. Or else, they just won't list your domain. They do list a lot of really nice and rare domains but IMHO, the majority of them are overpriced. I also rarely see them make the Domain Sales Chart on DNJournal which means they probably don't make that much sales (unless they always request their sales data to be kept private).

Maybe it looks like Great Domains is good to get listed there if possible, then sell your domains somewhere else but making a reference that you got accepted into their site?..lol

This made me curious about who really owns the domain name. Verisign Inc. since 08-Aug-1996. No wonder..
