    From what I see, it installs on your browser, and knows your adsense id number, so IP address will not matter.

    If it works, I can install it on all the machines I might use, sometimes I'm playing on my kids machine looking at sites that I have adsense on, and one day they are going to walk in after I leave the room, and go click crazy on the site.

    However, for me,when I try to install the script, the install box comes up and it just sits there. I have other greasemonkey scripts working.

    If it goes by your Adsense ID, that means you will need to be logged in. Wouldn't it?

    It will happen :eek: I caught my 7 year old clicking away - I made her send Google a hand written apology letter and then added all of my sites to the nanny software on her machine so it wouldn't happen again.

    Let me know if you get it working, I'd love to be able to get the kids involved with the business.

    I clicked on one of mine too yesterday by accident. It was right under a tab in Firefox that I meant to click on.

    I don't think Google is that strict if you click on your ads maybe once every few months that they'll cancel your account.

    as far as i know, greasemonkey had a huge security flaw, which allows any website with a malicious javascript code to have access all of your files. greasemonkey users are told to uninstall greasemonkey until next update.

    please check if the security flaw is still there, before installing greasemonkey.

    There was a glitch in my greasemonkey installation that prevented it installing.

    The fix is documented here http://greaseblog.blogspot.com/

    0.3.5 -> 0.5.1 migration madness

    after hacking the Firefox profile, then the click-preventer installs, asks for my adsense id, and stops me clicking on my ads. Though it takes a certain amount of courage to intentionally click ads.

    What if G buys this program and put it on their toolbar, so that everyone just put in his/her ID?

    G can not buy this program, because it is not for sale. it's a firefox extension, and therefore open source just like firefox itself.
