My Gre verbal and words list blog is a blog designed for Gre vocabulary with sentences

I had a website but it did u generate enough $ to keep so I started using free Blogs like blogspot

I had CTR of around 1%

and Iam not satisfied with this low ctr

I tried to put ad unit at top left with red text color and 2 ads and 2 search boxes
I think that the ads are not closely related to the content of the blog

plz help me in improving my CTR

In the past i had a website of about 5% ctr but not with blogs

also I used to put ads between paragraphs of the website and not now with blogs
I tried to change in the html code in order to place ads among the content but I failed in doing so

I have another blog which gets more traffic but with less Ctr

I would change the background of your GRE blogs. The color pattern of the background is more distracting than anything else (i.e., content and ads).
