Whats the max gravity a product can have?

Is a gravity of 14 considered high or low? Is it a good place to start?

    Hey,

I think that the gravity is a measure of how many Affiliates have sold the product.

Often a product with a very high Gravity has a lot of competition from other Affiliates and it could be better to choose products with lower Gravity and Competition.

    Best Regards

In theory, there isn't a maximum at all.

    Low.

In principle, yes, a very good place to start (and to continue!).

But gravity shouldn't really be a major factor in deciding what you want to promote (apart from maybe staying away from very high gravities, which are certainly a bad place for most people to start!). It's much more important for it to be a good product with a good sales page with no "leaks", and for it to pay decent commissions, and so on (and for it to be something you can write about, if you're planning to do "reviews" and/or "article marketing", which are certainly good places to start).

    Good luck!

Best advice is to forget about gravity. It really is a useless measure if you want to make money. Other factors far override it.

Yes I know I mention it in my sig but its only because so many people are obsessed with it! I ought to change my sig really.

Definitely consider what the sales/pitch page is stating. 90% of the time, if the pitch doesn't get you to buy it then you might want to consider another product to promote.

I always to tell people its the sale copy that will get people to buy. Gravity just lets you know whether affiliates are promoting it or not.

I heard 30 is good - not too much competiton, but enough movement.
I agree with the guys above, gravity is not the only criteria. Find out if you can back the product because it keeps the promises it makes.
