I've been reading up on gravity today but just a quick question for reassurance: Vendor A has a product with a gravity of 15 And Vendor B has gravity of 60 Generally speaking would vendor B be making more "affiliate sales" each month or would this be difficult to say?
A clear explanation here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvqCB5rr6uo It would be difficult to say.It completely depends on how smart those affiliates are. Hope it helps
Gravity doesn't reflect upon the number of sales. It's the number of affiliates that have made at least one sale on a given period of time. You can have 2 affiliates generating 2000 sales while 200 affiliates can generate only 200 sales .. But generally speaking the higher the gravity that indicated there's more affiliates promoting that product.
the idea generally is that higher gravity means more people promoting it. that's all. nothing to do with revenue or number of sales.
Yeah I'd rather have the 2 affiliates anyday. And so how do I attract these super affilliates when I've got 0 gravity and NO repution as I'm starting out? I dont have a product but hypothetically say: 1. My product offer was 75% commission of $40 a sale 2. had a comprehensive aff resource area 3. Had a quality product 4. And have proven conversions of 2% Obviously I cant just slap my ebook onto the CB marketplace and hope for the best... there gotta be a way to find these super aff. right? (my niche is tinnitus by the way)
Well, once you had done some testing and can prove that conversion rate, you could make a thread here (and on similar forums) about your product. If you can show potential affiliates that you have a product that converts well and can make them money, you shouldn't have a problem getting some good affiliates on board.
