Wow... just noticed it today: www .daytradingrobot. com This product's gravity skyrocketed by almost 550 points in one day! Now THAT is what I call marketing http://www.cb-analytics.com/product.php?id=robotstock&recurring=on
Actually it was even bigger jump. Cb analytics shows gravity difference from the moving average (not the previous day), which smoothens such jumps. Rank history graphs look also quite interesting
I got a promotional email from those guys a few days ago. From memory, they had a screenshot of $67,000 for one day in their publisher account. Just checked the actual email: Correction $64,025.76
Yeah, that's a really nice sales page, but most of their copy was ripped off a particular place if you know what this place is, please don't post it here...or we'd be inundated with copy like this . But kudos to their video, that's probably what makes the conversions come in, only a matter of time before our FX guys implement this in their sales pages.
I love that video. I recognise the robot at the top, isn't that from the old robot product that used to do so well? I wonder if there's any way of faking that trade he did on the etrade site. It's not as if the robot will always win and win that big. So I guess he had to create lots of videos and that was the best one.
Yeah but the thing here is guys, gravity can be manipulated by using multiple affiliate accounts, and having a lot of your JV partners in on the game. So gravity over a short term period of time, is really not something that you should rely on in terms of whether or not to promote...
Actually I would love to know what the reason was for that stock jumping. A robot is a technical analysis machine and if the stock jumped on a news release with no indicators predicting it then that would be hilarious.
They bought the stock the day before releasing financial statement. Bought stock Dec 16. Press release on Dec 17 stating increase in operating income http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/teletouch-announces-preliminary-2008-fiscal/story.aspx?guid={E46E6976-5107-4D30-B60B-CA6341161DC7}
That's what I was thinking. I bet he did that quite a few times and this was the biggest winner so he shows it. I'm sure some days there were losses and there were some days where it only went up a little bit. The one where it goes up 300% is the one to show on the website of course So no... I don't think it's fake - But it's definitely misleading. Hell you could almost randomly pick penny stocks and you would eventually have such a scenario happen. It'd be worth losing a lot of money just to have the "video proof" of how well it works because it's a great marketing tool. Anyway, absolutely fantastic marketing. It's something to learn from, I think. True, it can be manipulated to a point. But even if it's manipulated entirely (created 500 different affiliate accounts and rotated them using software) he still made at least 500+ sales in a day. That's pretty good. Plus the salesletter is definitely a cut above the average. I'm tempted to spend some time promoting it.
Interesting. This makes me think that he just got lucky on this one. I doubt he had inside information. But he knew that the price could move big on earnings data and make for a good video if it turned out right. I doubt the technicals i.e. the bot, would have told him of this huge jump. Sometimes you can spot insiders buying but this is rare. He probably invested $2000 on 10 or 20 different stocks and showed the best result. As Zibblu says though, great marketing. I am going to have to rip off this idea some day
