Hi there, my name is David Peralty and I work for rocketgenius, the company that sells Gravity Forms, a data collection tool for WordPress. Previously, I was a full time blogger for over five years, and the co-host on two different WordPress podcasts.

I am going to make myself available on Digital Point for the next while to answer any questions you might have about:
    - Content Marketing
    - WordPress
    - Gravity Forms
    - Supporting a Product/Service
    - Working with Freelancers

Feel free to ask me anything, and I'll do my best to answer.

what's your suggestion to promote wordpress themes?
I have currently 4 premium themes which are clone templates of damnlol, imgur and 9gag. But i am always confused how to make more people aware of this.

So it looks like you went the search traffic route which is cool. The way that many theme companies seeded their success was to get posts on sites like Bloggingpro.com, and WPTavern.com, the places where people talk about WordPress constantly. They'll give you great feedback in what you are doing, or rake you over the coals if you aren't doing the "right" things. There was also feature-itis in themes recently, so people that might be willing to purchase your themes have to feel like it is dead simple to implement. Maybe work on your sales page more, craft content/tutorials, videos on how to use the themes, promote that they are GPL, and that they are being actively updated. Gravity Forms has built a community of fans that do all of our word of mouth marketing. They are the reason Gravity Forms has had success... not through any direct marketing or other marketing tactics (Search or otherwise).

Thanks, I appreciate that. Let me know if you have any questions. If you are interested, I recently posted a blog post on my own site using information that my boss has publicly posted on Twitter to give people a sneak peak into what is coming down the pipe.

I don't know how kosher it is to post a link, so I'll give you some details here:

CRM Abilities – Gravity Forms is going to let you add contacts and businesses to Gravity Forms so that you can manage your connections and contacts.

Hosted E-mail – Many people have had issues with Gravity Forms sending notification messages, thanks in large part to the complexities of sending e-mail. I had an idea it was complex, but after supporting the issues for more than a year, I now have an appreciation of how difficult it can be to send an e-mail from one server to another.
Gravity Forms is going to be providing a hosted e-mail solution that’ll bypass some of the complexities by getting the e-mail sent from a trusted service.
Stripe – If you want to purchase Gravity Forms, you currently need to use Paypal, but soon it will switch to Stripe instead.
