Gravity is a metric clickbank uses to rank the products listed in their marketplace. The higher the gravity the more products are being sold. I have a very rough estimate of how many products a clickbank publisher sells per day based upon their gravity. I'll try not to get too complicated. This is just from my observations as a publisher. Please don't rant to me that I'm wrong For every 10 points of gravity the publisher sells around 5-8 products per day; however, this number goes up the higher the gravity is. This scale is good for products under a gravity of 50. So if the gravity is 20 than they sell 10-16 products per day. This scale is highly dependant upon how many affiliate sales are made, but my theory fits my product. Hope this helps.
So basically, the higher the better for the Gravity? Some of the products that show up in my niche show a Gravity of over 400... Is there a point that you should stay away from the product? High or low? Of course a gravity of 0 is probably not good but is that gravity of 400 good?
You're doing the fat loss niche? A product with a gravity of 400 means that there is a lot of competition. I would try and choose a product with a gravity around 60 to start out with. There's less competition and there are plenty of sales being made.
lol... no. Not doing that one. Thanks. That advice will help. I picked up one with a grav of 108. I guess I'll go look again to see if I can find another with a grav between 40-70. Mostly looking for banner ads. Not trying to push anything too hard with this one.
