Is there really any (SEO) benefit in using title tags on graphics?

What do you mean "title tags on graphics"? Are you asking about alt tags?

you can add title tags as well as alt tags. Just wondering if there was a benefit. The title shows if you roll over a graphic. It will over ride a alt tag if the graphic is visible.

Oh, I don't ever use title tags for images. So I can't answer your question.

I do not believe anyone has posted seeing a SEO benefit for either title or alt tags but they are considered user.

I have got into the habit of using TITLE tags in addition to alt tags over the last X months from being a FireFox convert. Even though it may still be a minority browser, including title tags adds only a little to coding time, so I'm already geared up for any future changes and therefore no backtracking to comply with any potential guidelines or legislation :)

As for SEO benefits if there are none now, at least I may be better prepared...

Yes, its good to use title attribute and alt both for your images. This increases keyword frequency and helps in SEO.
