Graphic Header

What do you think about this header design? I was just testing out my brushes on Photoshop and created something in 5 minutes

What is the site about?

 

I think you should use a grey shade like your main site theme. The header looks a little bit crowded though

btw, the adsense ads below the header is placed really nicely. I will follow that style. Thanks

 

Nice colors. As for the logo readability try to use purple on the “mojo” part.

 

Thanks for your input guys It's not for the site! I just made this in 5 minutes (like I said), I was just bored

Mantero: It does look crowded after looking at it again... I should use less of those patterns next time

 

I'd suggest removing the one behind the "O" in Mojo and removing all the ones on the right. Keep it to the left. It will look "simpler" but cooler. If you do those changes, PM me and I'll give it a look again.

 

you should fade the bg some so the text stands out more that my opinion

 

And maybe reduce the height a bit. Not a huge fan of larger banners. But other than that, nice results for 5 minutes of work.

 

Change text style... try to make something better, and dont look on time
