I was just wondering what graphic designers do because people always say I would be a good one. How much do jobs like that pay? Can I go to a well known school to study this? And does anyone have any ideas about something I could draw thats like graphic design. I love using lots of color and just doing cool designs on or for things. I'M JUST IN THE MOOD TO DRAW!! Any cool things out there to include in my pictures or any ideas that include drawings that revolve around pictures cut out of magazines or actual photographs. Or ideas where I can include actual pictures in a drawing. All ideas you post are helpful. I just need something to expand or go off of. Thanks!!
A graphic designer is really just an artist. Usually you'll start out with a pencil and a pad of paper and draw your idea out, or use something like a WACOM sketch tablet to draw your ideas out. After you get your pencils done, you'll scan in the drawing and use Photoshop (almost exclusively) to edit the drawing into a graphic that meets your needs. It's a pretty large field. So in graphic designing field Some companies are pay well; some don't. You could design pizza boxes for some little restaurant, or you could work on a national ad campaign for a marketing firm. There are jobs for all skill levels, and they pay the full range.
