Granny gets a whopping 40 Gig/per/sec internet connection - From Swedish News Archive

    Just stumbled on an old but very interesting news article which was posted on a Swedish news press site a few years ago thelocal.se/7869/20070712/ Apparently a 75 year old granny has experienced the worlds fastest internet connection thanks to her son who happens to be a Swedish internet legend who, along with a local council's network arm, has arranged the connection, wow :eek: 40 Gigabits per second connection would probably allow you to download the internet and declare bankruptcy (or apply for a DRO) with the pending ISP bill all in one click :D here's an extract from the article;

    I guess judging from this it looks as though the Europeans could lead the way to faster broadband if this is to become mainstream over there. Lets hope that the ISP's create some sort of fair rate with such future infrastructure, here's hoping anyway, enjoy.

    Are you sure that 5Gbps is the fastest? :confused:

    I guess Google or even DP servers for that matter would have a faster internet connection.

    Even if I get 1/4 that speed, I'd be a happy torrent camper :D
