This month saw one little milestone and one big one for us. The little one was receiving my first Social Security retirement check. The big event was the birth of our first grandchild His name is Isaac, and he was born last week in Tualatin, Oregon. The little guy is doing great, and we are all as proud as can be of him. I though I would share our happiness with our friends here on Digital Point.
Amazing! We got the "my water broke!" call late last Monday evening. We drove straight up to Portland, arriving at the hospital at 2:00 a.m., in time to hold our newborn. There is very little to compare to that wonderful feeling. Thanks for asking.
Congratulations! -- sure took you long enough LOL.. I won't be surprised if I am a grand parent before I am 40.
Don't forget you have to give him back, Grandpa. Congrats Jim - it good to see you so estactic. Isaac? That has a familiar ring to it ... did you have an influence on the name?
Great news!! That must be exciting! Don't post any pictures though! == My wife seems to be getting "da itch".
Thanks for all the kind words. The new grandson reminds me that there are plenty of real life issues far more important than a pagerank update!
How very true! If I hadn't already given you a congratulatory rep for the announcement that statement alone would be worth one!
Congratulations Jim. You should buy the little guy a domain name with your Social Security retirement check. Isaac.md is available as I write this. MD could be an abbreviated form of Medford (Oregon), or just steer him towards the medical profession! Or get him hooked on DP a.s.a.p.
Another, a few months prior and the day he was born - our kids are born with a lot of hair. We have cut his hair 4 times already and it is long and curly in the back. Now I know your wife can make cute kids, but I don't know about you Rob.....
oh wow.. nice pics in here.. BTW congrats on being a Grandpa now... how about your pics? you must be really young to be one..
So much true, i think we all here should learn something from this statement before we go to post something in the latest PR update thread which has around 647 postings and 21,031 views. Congratulations for your grandson.
