    Hello,

I have a blueish logo I want to place on a blueish header,
so I want to add a background layer of a 50% opacity white rectangle.

I want the rectangle border to be gradient to transparent so the frame of the
background will seems fading into the header color.

    any guidance will help,
    Thx

There is this gradient map wich is standard in photoshop it has one colour in it and the other one is transparent so if you would pick a white to transparent gradient it'll fade into the background ;)
I hope I helped with this
