Gradient Shadow only Appears in IE, not FF

I have the following code which is supposed to give your page elements (boxes, pictures, links, tables etc.) a shadow border. It is very cool, but unfortunately is not working for FireFox. When I apply it on a table, it works perfect on IE, but in Firefox, the whole table gets blanketed with a grey block.

Here is what the code looks like:

Please note, this works fine in both IE and FF for pictures, links etc, but when it comes to just a table, it doesn;t work. I don't want to use DIVs, I prefer tables for now.

Now to be fair, the author did mention that this doesn't work perfectly for Firefox, but I have seen many people implementing it with no problem.

Any workaround for this to work on tables for Firefox?

    Thanks,

Don't you think the author might be the one to ask? He is the one most likely to have found, or been given, a solution.

    cheers,

    Hi Gary,

I would have, but many people have already asked on his forum, and neither he nor anyone else has answered yet.

And those who did find a solution, didn't share it with others, and I have no way of contacting them.

    Thanks,
