I know there's a way to do it that does not violate TOS and works with all browsers. Take this site here http://www.club3g.com/ for example. They've got adsense with a gradient background. Does anyone know how you would accomplish this so that it will work in all browsers, or i'd be happy with just firefox.
not sure on that one, It displays just fine for me. I don't see them blocking specific country's or anything its just an automotive forum....? I'll see if i can dig up some more examples
haven't stumbled across anything other then that site that so far. If you take a look at my site here you should be able to get a good idea of what it is i'm trying to accomplish. On the top of the login header where i have adsense displayed it is a solid grey color as opposed to the bottom where it has an image as a background. Same with the two 250x300 adds below it. I had to make the background color black for those but they would look so much better if there was a way to eliminate the background color....any ideas?
It simply is not possible, I know over the years it's one of the most requested features to have transparent background or even just gradient backgrounds, but google doesn't want, only their premium adsense publishers can get different things, for the rest of us the answer is no.
