Grabed old domain from auction (new template indexing)

    new template indexing

    I have just grabed 2005year domain from aucton ...
    I need SEO recomendations ...

    the domain had a temlate of unknown to me affiliate program
    I will upload a new template (the same theme to promote)

    I wonder how to change evrth on domain -- it has a lot of backlinks and PR

    previus shop used to have .php extension
    my template will have .html extension

    - what to do so that SE get it indexed smoothly???
    - should i deal with 301 redirect on Apache from old pages???
    - how can i get back to previous site achievement in SERPs???

    please - share from your SEO experience

    If the theme(topic) of your website is changing then you might face some problems as I did.
    It took 6 months to run smoothly..

    No need to alert google every time you change your template - seriously they would probably count it as a positive thing like new content...

    just do 301 redirects. google will gradually redirect all old urls to new urls permanently
