    Hello.
I managed to become an owner of a gov.xx (sorry, I am not providing exact TLD) domain and I am considering selling subdomains like yoursubdomain.gov.xx
As we all know, such domains are loved by Google. Now, my question is - would people be interested in buying those? How much do you think such subdomain would be worth?

    Wrong,
Google is not in love with gov.xx domains!
    Geesh.

They go for the TLD, and sorry, but putting gov before the tld is not the same.
Only fools would believe that they should spend money with you to get a domain like: blah.gov.xx

    Geesh....

Just as bad as those that were pushing edu.xx domains

    Oh, they are really subdomains!!!!!!

    Not domains!

Keep that in mind when you try to push your little whatever you want to call it.

This all depends. Those are actually 2nd level tlds. And in many countries, government sites use something like xyz.gov.xx (Check this for an example: http://dns.gov.ph/ ). Only US has access to .gov domains.
I still believe that Google should recognize those as more trusted domains. Anyway, no need for the irony. I am not selling anything, I am not pushing anything. Just asking.

from personal experience, .gov and .edu do have more trust by algorithms, as they are not easy to obtain by spammers - i would be interested if such a thing existed... and without the gov agents after me! =P
