Does anyone have any ideas about getting .gov backlinks? I don't know anyone in college to ask them to link me and I sure could use one or two.
HI, I do not know more but I think.. you can get this by doing some good for your local gov or their site ...
The only problem with that is that .govs are stand alone, what I mean by that is that they have people to do practically everything for them if you go to a .gov offering a service they'll just decline, because they can get it done themselves. Getting a backling from a .gov isn't fun, nor is it easy. Same applies for .edu, .ac.uk too. To get a backlink from one of these sites you need to make them NEED to have a link form you or some of your content, you have to make yourself so sought after that if they were to NOT get something from you it'd just be lunacy!
