Got Tons of Traffic from yahoo answers!!!!!

Mostly I answered question on Entertainment categories in yahoo answer.

 

It depends the topic of your blog. It's better that the answer the question is located in your blog. It's a technique to earn traffic and backlinks. But you can also answer some questions that is not related to your blog as long as you know the answer and you can provide a proof of your answer.

I don't understand what you are saying..my link is posted in my answer so how come it become "no follw" when readers directly create on it?

so you will get extra traffic but that will not improve your SEO ranking

 

and? you need SEO for traffic, if you get traffic without SEO why the hell do u need it? ever thought of this?

 

yes you are right, but that traffic will not last long, however people might link you your site after visiting you from Yahoo answer, if they think that you provided them with useful info.

Yup....yahoo answers traffic is good....but the links are nofollow....but traffic stays for a while

 

My purpose in posting yahoo answer is not for SEO but for quick quality traffic. I don't believe it's no follow.. Google indexed that post.

 

ya u get quality traffic and if lucky quality conversions too if you post in very relevant catagories..

Yahoo traffic is considered to be organic

 

I used Y! Answers to promote my arcades. I would post 10-40 answers on relative questions a day and I was getting about 50 to 150 uniques per day from it. I also have a best answer rate of about 11% from these answers. I was very surprised to fin that some people had started posting my links as answers on their own free will.

What was the topic of your answer because I have never gotten that much from any of mine.

nofollow in in the A tag.
Example: <a href="site.com" rel="nofolow">my site</a>

nofollow has no affect on the page with the link on it but it will not help improve the SERPs of the page it is linking to (site.com).
