Got screwed over $10,000 by my partner in Surat, India

I had co-run a youtube channel with my partner in Surat India, and have invested over $4000 into the channel. As the channel started to get viral, my partner sold the channel for $20k USD to his buddy in US without giving me any of the proceeds. I have his address, phone number, and signed contract stating I own 50% of the channel.

I am wondering if anyone in India can help me at least get some money back from him? He used to be trustworthy from a few years back, but now, it seems he is having financial problems, I guess that's why he screwed me over. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
