I sold my image site for $200 and the buyer sent me the money. Now I just logged in and in my account it says I have a dispute.

Aparently he sent the money from a paypal account and the owner of that account didnt authorize to send the money... so it looks to me as if he hacked or phished an account and sent me the money..

So now im in trouble with Paypal and I need to know what to do with this dispute...

By ballence in Paypal is -$8 atm:rolleyes:

I need some advise guys, what should I do?

You can't do anything. In the future sell to reputable buyers. If you aren't sure of buyer then set terms so that the domain stays in your account for 60 days. That should be enough time to see if the account was hacked. Usually a chargeback or reversal is within 2 weeks if it's a scam.

Did you sell a domain too with the sale.. Maybe you can find out the who is in control of your old domain name and get in touch with them.. Ask them wtf is going on. Or put in a claim with your old domain holder and say the account was hacked to transfer the name and the transfer needs to be reversed..

Ill contact DynaDot but ive already transfered the domain so im not sure I can do anything.

You might be able to file a dispute with ICANN. They might be able to intervene in the matter. If you know the city/state (for sure) where this person lives, contact the local police department there. While one offense is not going to result in an arrest for that individual, if he has done that to several people (there is no set number), they might be able to charge him with Organized Fraud.

If you PM me I might be able to help you track him down. I won't charge you for the service. I have a lot of experience doing record searches.

Use escrow.com for site/domain name sales. Also sign agreement, preferable with ID faxed copy.

In this case you wont get the money since it was sent from a hacked account . The best chance is to contact the registar and provide enough details .
