Ash had a pretty good itrader, I'm a bit suprised this happen. Check Whois.net and see what you can find out. You can also report this to the cybercrime or fraud place. Just Google it, you'll find it.

Also if they live in your country or even not, you can also try contacting the police about this.

Just to let you scammers out there, you guys ought to be ashamed of yourselfs. Why don't you guys spend more time working to make your money, instead of thinking of new ways to scam other people's hard earned money. Keep going at it and maybe one day you'll get caught too, and punishment, may I say are not very light, and you can be arrested.

I hope everyone on dp that has any info on this help these guys out, give them any info you may know to help stop these scammers and help green and bgmv get their domains back.

It's people like these that ruin our community.

just came across something that I thought I would inquire about. I checked the whois for TKZD.com, one of the ones stolen and it seems like the scammer changed the NS from sedoparking.com to BODIS.com . The site that is up at TKZD.com has links to under 18 pornography, as far as I know in the United States any pornographic material cannot contain persons under the age of 18.

Under their domain agreement, section 7, it states that, " Go Daddy may also cancel the registration of a domain name, after thirty (30) days, if that name is being used, as determined by Go Daddy in its sole discretion, in association with spam or morally objectionable activities. Morally objectionable activities will include, but not be limited to: activities designed to defame, embarrass, harm, abuse, threaten, slander or harass third parties; activities prohibited by the laws of the United States and/or foreign territories in which You conduct business; activities designed to encourage unlawful behavior by others, such as hate crimes, terrorism and child pornography."

Correct me if Im wrong but does this not constitute as an infraction? Why would GD allow the change of a NS, I reported this specific domain to be inquired by WhoIs.

That doesn't work. My domain UTEENS.com was scammed from me via the PayPal/GoDaddy loopholes this week here on DP.

The buyer paid me via PayPal, I verified the $600.00 funds were in my account then transferred the domain to his GoDaddy account.

GoDaddy won't do jack besides telling me to get a court order.

GoDaddy says that the buyer can't transfer the domain for 60 days.

Let me ask you, how many times could a domain name be bought, sold and transferred within GoDaddy's system in those 60 days?

Right....Plenty of times, further complicating matters.

GoDaddy needs to start looking out for their valued customers and re-evaluate their current policy which enables the fraudsters to get away with this crap.

PayPal needs to stop classifying domains as "Intangible Goods" and offer an escrow or verifications of funds to their customers.

These kind of changes are not going to happen for domainers unless we make it clear to payment providers and registrars that this has got to change.

If you don't like it let them know.

As Domainers, we need to stand united on these issues, this is a multi-million dollar industry and we need to make our concerns and complaints known to the companies whose current policies enable these scammers to get away with their evil deeds.

Because if we don't, I can assure you (and you can quote me),

This is going to grow so, so rapidly, since hackers see it as "Easy Pickings" enabled by companies that have poor policies in place to protect their good customers.

As these scams grow out of control and people are apprehensive about doing any domain transactions on forums, they will stick to auctions that have escrow or they will use services such as escrow.com which is really going to slow down the process of buying and selling.

Preferably these companies will come around and offer secure payment verification before we transfer our domain, and registrars will enable a domain to be"Locked" during the 60 day period, so the domain in dispute can't be sold and re-registered during the 60 day period further complicating matters.

We really don't want this to get any worse do we?

Make the companies involved aware of your concerns.
