Got new dedicated server with Centos 5 installed

Hello,

I really want to know what next i have to do, i want to protect my server like
Antivirus scanner,
Rkhunter,
mod security
csf,
and other safety precautions.

Please let me know how can install the above i mentioned. and also please post what ever you know to secure server

Ignore the last part about WHM, instead edit /etc/csf/csf.conf

If you want to install clam as a virus scanner, it's an ok tool, try issuing "yum install clamd"

Better let the experts do the job. My recommendation is PSM.

 

Care to explain who PSM is? My Google appears to be broken and is only bringing up screws and literal security guards?
