Got a verified paypal account and things were going along fine. Bid for a site here and won it. Just as I was preparing to send money ZAP ! PAYPAL in its infinite wisdom decided that I could not be trusted to send money with my own credit card which has got sufficient limit and declined to send money. So in a short span of time your reputation goes down the drain, and you get an -vetrader to add, I can't blame the seller for giving an -veitrader, for I would have done the same in his place. So people beware if you are fully or partially funding any purchase with your credit card, check if you can send money before making any commitments to save a lot of stress and heartburn.
Does your paypal account got limited? How you get the message. If your account got limited, then what is the reason showing in your account.
No my account didn't get limited. You get an message saying that payment could not be completed and add a new card to verify. I have already added two cards.
But did you make it a point to explain this to the seller? I'm sure the person will understand and as long as the goods or items hasn't changed ownership, you could still make your case on it.
Are you using real credit card? Is your credit limit ok? I just got 3 times same error as you. I have my real credit card added. I try after some time and transiction got completed. I also sent asking about this heck to paypal.
I never had that problem. It could be a problem with the credit card payment gateway at the time you want to pay, it is possible they could not bring up your data at the bank to verify your data and to charge your card. You could explain to the sender and tell him you try again in the future. I may be wrong but so far I only seems to see this problem affecting Indian Credit Card users and not just in Paypal as when I am using Plimus, I keep seeing Indian customers payment consistently failing.
I got the problem , as when I came to know how to make payment via Credit Card as there is no option in paypal to load funds via Credit Card to Paypal Account. Thanks to eddy for the clarification. After that , I make 3 successfull payments via CC, and I got 3 times failure payment. The reason I got = Our payment processing and card processing is running smoothly and error free, Please contact your branch for Card troubleshooting. I call bank and I got reply , we are getting unexpected transiction loads , so you are getting such problem. Try to make transiction after some time , I did that and just completed my transiction. Note :- This type of Indian credit card problems may be continue till 15th August. So , don't worry for this indians.
Well what I understood from paypal reply is that any uneven patterns in your account triggers their internal security processes. For e.g. if you are consistently sending or buying with your paypal balance and if you use a credit card it might get blocked or if you are suddenly want to transact a large sum of money compared to your regular transactions, paypal's security measures kicks in. I have checked with my credit card provider and there is no problem at their end. The only way is adding another funding source or as eddy points out there might be geographical limitations too. In the end it is upto yourselves to verify whether you can send the payment before making any promises.
This is quite a rare problem.. Never encounter this kind of problem before Is it cause you a big money for the deal?
I may be wrong but so far I only seems to see this problem affecting Indian Credit Card users and not just in Paypal as when I am using Plimus, I keep seeing Indian customers payment consistently failing.[/QUOTE] You right its only happen to Indian users, cause i know two guy from India have the same problem.
Sorry to hear that, but you can ask the seller whether he accept other payment option,so that you can complete the deal
I often see the claims blaming Paypal but it is normally another issue. I have been used Paypal since they first started and I have never had a problem with them. There are many rules and if you are dealing from countries like India, you should read those rules carefully. I have had weeks when I done hundreds of transaction and I have yet to encounter a problem. Are you both bank and credit card verified?
