I have a review site for the wind/solar products. I built the site shortly after there were 3 products to review - swerd, exilus, and whoever had the third one. I had the one from exilus in last place, but only because there wasn't any other product available when i built the site. Somehow a week or two ago i sold one of his, even with the less than enthusiastic review i gave it. When i noticed the sale, i remembered the threads he'd posted here about ripping that guy off and made a mental note to change his product out for a different one since there are now several to choose from. The funny thing is that after the sale i distinctly remember thinking, it would really suck to get my first refund from this. So to cut to the chase, i got my first refund today and it was his product. Off i go to make some overdue changes. /rant
Refunds blow. I had some product that had two refunds in two days. I thought the publisher sent out a bad email to his buyers or something lol.
lol hilarious thread. Yes refunds suck, try the forex autopilot niche. The refunds are ridiculous!!!! Its hard to even maintain a profit. I've had 3 refunds in 1 day before, 2 in a day a few times... My refund rate is about 20% with that niche and others report the same or higher. Thank god im moving on to something else.
I had a few refunds with the E4E product. I sold a lot initially, but after a week or two they came pouring in
hey, Sorry to hear that the current refund rate for e4e is: 3.44% - over the last 15 days. In the first few weeks of e4e the refund rate was below 3%. So you may have just been unlucky. Whats your CB id and how many sales did you make? If you sold a lot you may be able to get a bonus payout. Swerd
I'm actually using the three diy energy cb products which were all released by swerd in my review/landing page. First place is e4e and there are two other products 'Make Power At Home' at 'DIY Home Solar Power' . Maybe try using those.
In general, I found that physical products have low refund as compared to digital products. Besides, I also do well with eBay affiliate programs.
I find digital products have a much higher profit margin than physical products despite the higher refund rate.. My very first sale on Clickbank was refunded the next day. I didn't make another sale for 4 months, but then this year, I have made tons of sales, with a steady 2% refund rate. REfunds still suck though.
Hey guys! refund rates is just something we have to deal with, there are several strategies we can apply to lower or even disappear the refund rates, we just have to live with that
I'm also promoting E4E and am pretty happy with it, the refund rate for me is very low, so I'm not having any refund problem whatsoever
Is that because the hypey product pages promise the impossible? I was attracted to this niche as I have some trading experience but I'd never let a robot live trade for me. I tested forex autopilot yesterday on a demo account and it promptly lost over $1000. The only way to succeed in forex trading is through extended study and practice. But I guess that angle doesn't sell.
Have you try to promote products from Markethealth.com? it has high profit margin (50%). Though many people in DP bash markethealth.com but I did Ok with them. In general, I find that products in IM have higher refund rate as compare to other niche.
I just had a refund of my own product... Purchased: 23:34 Sent me an e-mail requesting a refund at 23:40... Hmmm... I doubt you can watch 10 long videos in 6 minutes, but anyways...
Hard to avoid. There are a few things you can do but the main one that comes to mind is not sell crap CB products. I am sure you know what I mean. Some of the CB products are just asking for refunds they are so poor.
Im not a publisher so i dont know, but do you have to give him a refund? I know there is the 60 day guarantee but are you required to provide the refund or is that he can go directly to clickbank and get one? Because users like this who are clearly just trying to get a freebie i would just ignore and let them go to clickbank themselves. Obviously customers that are genuinely dissatisfied with the product i would help out
