Well, happy to say that now my site has reached number one for some ideal search phrases for me.. and I am happy as larry My site is a place where people can buy and sell facebook applications.. So if anyone now types in Sell Facebook Applications there it is http://www.appbid.com And I have made the front page for Buy Facebook Applications I just need to get it bumped to the top This site was my first attempt at marketing properly, so I am glad Its actually working..
Thats really not easy, I tried for years the best I had was 2nd position for a keyword I had wanted badly. But it slipped back again soon after Congrats!
Well thats the thing guys.. no real tactics.. basically just the usual using keywords in links in forums, blogs etc.. I bought maybe 1-2 links on sites.. but that was it... and I only bought them last week so who knows if that has helped it yet even at all. I guess the way it has worked is providing value within the niche, I contribute to discussions, and listen to what people want.. I think that has really helped.
