hello my friends i got my cheqe in just 9 days and em shocked coz it was too fast it was delivered to my house before 2 days but the postman delivered it to the groundfloor thats y i got it today so i just want to know do i need any type of code or anything to withdraw this cheqe or just i have to deposit this to my bank account and they ll clear without any code............ thanks rahul
Consider yourself damn lucky to have received it in flat 9 days! Now.... Fill up a check deposit slip and deposit the check in your bank's branch... just the way you do it with any other check. There is no need to enter any code as such! Regards, RightMan
thanks for the reply just 1 more question its my first cheqe thats y em asking can i deposit this to SBI or do i need to open a new account in citibank as there is clearly written in the check that it is payable at all citibank brances in india..........so is it posible to deposit this to SBI and how much ll it take to clear if i deposit this to SBI thanks rahul
If there is a branch of citi bank in your city then you'll get credit in 2 days else you need to wait few more days. DON.
How Paypal can send it too fast , I am shocked too because some guys have not got their cheques after a month. which city do you live ?
Congrats dude. Use direct bank withdrawal to your sbi account next time. Lesser fees, faster and lesser fuss.
drop you cheque in the drop box of any bank where you have an account. That should do it. Payable at Par means, theat your bank can collect the amount at any ciitbank branches in india
Needless to mention after the recent changes in the Indian Banking with Paypal, there are strong chances of anyone going to bank for transaction related to Paypal , that th banks might keep a check on the account by asking for your Permanent Account Number (PAN). In case you do not yet have it, it is strongly recommended to get one in your name as it is a legal proof of your doing transactions through Paypal.
the cheque has already been received. All that can be done now is to make sure that in future, debits are done directly to the bank account instead of calling for the cheque which takes longer days and much more inconveniences..
Why do you have to opt an option for a cheque, don't you have a service to get the money directly to your bank account ? I do this and my paypal amount is credited to my bank account within 2 working days.
i know this but i was afriad of paypal limitation coz my account is not verified and i have seen many posts that user saying account got limited while trying to withdraw funds to bank accounts thats y i thought cheqe would be better option...............
