My website has been up for 1 month. I have been holding off submitting it for review. After reading some of the reviews for other websites, I was not ready to receive criticism. Uncertain whether it was a good idea, had good content, looked good, that anybody would visit. Doubt, doubt, doubt. In this state of doubt to receive a blow like, “Layout is all wrong, change the colors, poor contentâ€. That would be a death blow – right in the celiac plexus. But now I got my steel plated ego armour on. Ready to receive blows. Thanks for reviewing my site. http://www.howthiswebsitemakesmoney.com/
I like the design, too. 2 suggestions: 1. tell a friend is nice, you can add also bookmark (code: http://www.addthis.com/) 2. the domain is too long, you buy other domain and redirect good luck
Unless I was not there to review it, at most probabilities I would have clicked the big RED X button at the top-right corner of my browser, assuming that it was yet another made-for-adsense site! Something you might consider reviewing.
I do not understand what you mean? Are you saying that it is, Or that it is not? What should I consider reviewing?
Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the graphics - I know. The problem is I can't stand 2 things: 1) Doing graphics 2) Paying someone to do them for me. @threegee: I hope this answers your question (from wiki): The celiac plexus (UK: coeliac plexus), also known as the solar plexus, is a complex network of nerves (a plexus) located in the abdomen. The celiac plexus is located near where the celiac trunk, superior mesenteric artery, and renal arteries branch from the abdominal aorta. It is behind the stomach and the omental bursa and in front of the crura of the diaphragm, on the level of the first lumbar vertebra, L1.
For me personally i like the design and the site is overall a good idea. But i think the domain name is too long. I mean if you tell someone the URL, then they have to drive home say, do you think they will remember it? I think short domains and catchy ones are easy to remember. My personal opinion, i may be wrong.
@JohnMac1 You are right. Long domain names are discouraged. Before I registered the name, I had thought long and hard about it. But in the end I figured that people do no really exchange domain names in the streets. Most of the time the domain name does not have to be remembered. It is usually passed along by email address - which requires simply a click. I chose the long name for two reasons: 1) Do describe the website 2) To be destinct by being long. These reasons outweighed the drawback that some guy walking home from the bar, half drunk, will forget the name of the website that his buddy was telling him about.
Nice design, very nice idea. I hope the the whole system is automatic so you do not have to generate charts and tables every time you earn a buck. Important note: The domain name is WAY too long. It is too long for SEO and people will not remember it. A tell-a-friend feature can get your more visitors since the idea is nice and unique.
