Got more traffic but lost my PR (huh?)

Ok, I'm a bit confused in all this.

I have more traffic coming to my page now. Arround 100 visitors a day which isn't bad for a new site I think, though I'm working on improving that.

What puzzles me is that my index page was Google PR 1 (not much but something) while I was building the site and first launched it. I thought after the April update I'd have a higher PR but suddenly everything is at ZERO.

How can I figure out what happened? What I did wrong? Or WTF happened?

I have the opposite problem. My PR is 3, but I don't get 100 real visitors a day. More like 30.

 

PR goes off a lot more than visitors...backlinks...and who you link to...are a key factor as well...

 

I don't think there was a PR update in April. Everyone is saying there is going to be PR update, and they Think it will be in April. I think Google updated backlinks, but not pr. Pr is usually updated every few months.

 

If you show us the url, we can double check the PR for your No update yet from everyone else..

I had PR1 showing on my google bar in firefox. Now its at PR0.

It is just odd to me.

So any idea what happened to my PR? Shouldn't it had risen and not lowered?
