I got an infraction for spamming?

I posted a post about a new affiliate network (Pepperjam) in the affiliate forum and gave a link to my blog about my review on the company.

The blog post at the time had no affiliate links or anything.

Why would is this considered spamming?

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

It's not a complaint about the infraction. It's me questioning what happened and why I would be considered as spamming simply to educate myself as to what not to do in the future.

    Thanks.

An infraction is a simple warning that you have done something wrong.

There is no real consequence to receiving an infraction, unless you are a spammer or you frequently and blatently break the rules. If you manage to rack up 10 infraction points, you will be banned temporarily.

Yellow infractions are just warnings. Red infractions are the real deal and will incur points toward being banned.

Hope now you understand properly. Read more details here.

Reputation is removing the Infractions right ?

I'm confused .. but thanks for let me know ..

Some Infractions i got is useless anyway same topic 2 Infractions .. once when i stared and once when i talk more and reply others .. and say close topic .. for mods ..

well , if someone really hates me well i might get banned , yes i that someone is a mod and don't like my posts ..

yes thats what I'm thinking .. Now we talking about policy of the forums .. and all i got is .. RED Infractions No yellow or warning me of doing something wrong .. I'm All new here so what i suggest is to make Expectation for new people coming here in the forums .. so they easygoing understanding the policy of the forum and about Infractions and Reputation.

anyway thank you for helping me ...

all of these questions are answered in the faq.

OP- In the future post information in the thread. Spamming your url to your site to read about something is still spamming.
