Just link your site with twitter and other social bookmarks via ping.fm and it will be indexed within 30 minutes.
It could be that the site had recently been available for sale and was already indexed, or the article you wrote was frequently indexed and so was your link
I totally disagree, but i have read and experienced GOogle nowadays do realtime indexing ie. once you publish your blog post/upload to the server. The indexing is very very fast ... unlike before
geting indexed != getting cached.. my post cached in few seconds when i update them in blog... and yes it takes much time in getting indexed in google results..
yes it may happen in some cases, but no one believe this. I have a a blog www dot ebusinessmodels dot com. Once i posted 2 articles in my blog and within in one hour Google got cached my page.
Google is very fast as compare to last 2-3 months i noticed. But Fresh content always play important role.
google is superfast in indexing sites now a day specially TLD domains,, my site was indexed within around 10hrs,, but bing yahoo takes lots of time,, still struggling to get my site properly indexed in them.
Google these days is fast and it's competition means it needs to get faster and faster to compete with the social media. Google are worried about the power of facebook and twitter to smash them for instant news/trends/events. Good to know that some people are striking google well though!
May be this 3 thing will happened.. 1. When you submit on your website in google may the website QUE will less. 2. If your post your website link in top websites. 3. May be your time is good. lol..
I think, Google is making their system faster (and muchbetter)... on the previous months, it takes days for new sites and pages to get indexed.. but now it's so fast
